Home Buying Journey

Buying a home is an exciting time filled with dreams and aspirations. It's also a significant step that requires careful planning and guidance. At DiGreen Homes, we believe your home-buying journey should be enjoyable, informative, and ultimately; rewarding.

From finding the perfect home, securing financing, and finally, celebrating the closing and moving into your new haven, our dedicated team of experts will be your partner throughout the entire process.

This section guides you through the exciting yet significant steps involved in buying a home with DiGreen Homes:

Step 1: Buying

You've reviewed the model types and floorplans and have chosen a plan that meets your space and functionality needs. You are now ready to make your dream home a reality. You will review the Agreement of Purchase and Sale with your real estate lawyer and arrange to provide the deposit to the builder to secure the property.
Connect with our team: Our knowledgeable sales representatives are here to answer your questions and guide you through the buying process.

Step 2: Arrange Financing

Get pre-approved for a mortgage: Understanding your budget upfront helps you understand your borrowing capacity and monthly mortgage payments.

Work with our preferred lenders: We can connect you with experienced mortgage professionals to ensure a smooth and efficient mortgage application.

Receive expert guidance: Our team provides personalized support and resources to navigate the financing process with confidence.

Step 3: Design Selection Appointment

A design consultant will be in touch with you to set up an appointment to review the value of the features in your home and help you choose interior design selections and finishes to personalize your home. You'll learn more about upgrade selection and payment options at this appointment.

Step 4: Pre-Delivery Orientation

Approximately two weeks preceding your closing date, a member of our Customer Service team will lead you through your nearly completed home's features and systems, such as the ventilation, plumbing, and heating, and explain their proper maintenance.

This is also an opportunity for you to identify any items that need to be addressed prior to closing.

Step 5: Closing Day

You will be notified of the closing date and appointment time in advance. You'll meet with your lawyer and finalize contracts ahead of this closing appointment.

The ownership of the home will be transferred from the builder to you.

Key Handover: The moment you've been waiting for! This final stage signifies the completion of construction and your chance to receive the keys to your new DiGreen home.

Welcome Home!: Moving day is finally here! As you settle into your new community, please remember that some areas might still be under construction. We prioritize safety and encourage caution while navigating these areas. We also request your patience as finishing touches, such as landscaping or shared amenities in condominiums, are completed in the coming weeks.

The Big Day Arrives: On closing day, after finalizing the necessary paperwork with your legal representation, you'll receive the keys to your new home. This momentous occasion signifies the official transfer of ownership and marks the beginning of your life in your dream space.
